LA 2028 Summer Games Transportation Guide

Metro Rail System

LA's expanded Metro system will be the primary transportation for LA 2028, with six lines connecting all major Olympic zones. The A (Blue), B (Red), C (Green), D (Purple), E (Expo), and K (Crenshaw/LAX) lines serve venues from Long Beach to Pasadena. TAP cards provide unlimited day passes during the Olympics. Key stations include Union Station (Downtown hub), Pico (Crypto.com Arena), and SoFi Stadium.

Olympic Shuttle Services

Dedicated Olympic shuttle buses will connect Metro stations to venues, hotels, and parking areas. Shuttles run continuously during event hours with increased frequency for high-demand sessions. Shuttle access is included with your event ticket. Color-coded routes make navigation simple even for first-time LA visitors.

Driving & Parking

Parking at Olympic venues is limited and requires advance reservation. Pre-purchased parking passes are available through the LA28 portal. Rideshare drop-off zones will be designated at each venue. Consider traffic congestion during peak hours (7-9 AM, 5-7 PM). Carpool lanes on freeways (I-10, I-405, US-101) encourage multiple passengers.

Accessibility Transportation

All Metro stations and Olympic shuttles are wheelchair accessible. Paratransit services will operate with expanded capacity during the Games. Accessible parking spaces must be reserved in advance through the LA28 accessibility portal. Service animals are welcome on all Olympic transportation.
