Both of Wimbledon's show courts offer debenture seats — the premium reserved seating that is also the only legally resalable Wimbledon ticket. But they suit different trips and budgets. Here is how to choose for 2027.
Centre Court: the main stage
Centre Court is where the biggest matches live: the top seeds early on, then every match from the Ladies' Semifinals onward, including both singles finals. It has a retractable roof, so your session is protected from rain. Debenture seats sit in the prime blocks of the stadium, and holders access the exclusive debenture lounge and restaurants.
Choose Centre Court debentures if you want the marquee names guaranteed — or if your trip is about the finals weekend (Ladies' Final Saturday July 10, Gentlemen's Final Sunday July 11, both 2:00 PM).
No.1 Court: the value play
No.1 Court is Wimbledon's second show court — nearly 12,000 seats, its own retractable roof (added in 2019), and a schedule packed with top-16 players through the first ten days. No.1 Court debentures cost noticeably less than Centre Court for the same date, and come with their own debenture lounge access.
Choose No.1 Court debentures if you want a full day of high-level grass-court tennis at a lower entry point — especially in the first week, when both courts host the same rounds. Note that No.1 Court's programme runs through July 8 in 2027; the last three days of The Championships are Centre Court only.
The quick comparison
Same round, same start time (1:30 PM on both show courts). Centre Court buys certainty of stars and access to the finals; No.1 Court buys more tennis per pound with genuine top-tier matches. Many regulars do one day on each.
