The Wimbledon Queue 2027: How It Works, What Time to Arrive and Guaranteed Alternatives
The Queue is Wimbledon's same-day ticket line, in Wimbledon Park, a five-minute walk from Southfields station. Each day it sells a limited number of Show Court tickets, about 500 each for Centre Court, No.1 Court and No.2 Court (none for Centre Court on the last four days), plus Grounds Passes, one per person and non-transferable. The AELTC doesn't give an arrival time: the Queue starts the evening before and grows very early in the morning, so Show Court tickets go to people who queue overnight or arrive very early. The 2027 Queue details aren't published yet; in 2026 it opened at 2pm the day before play began.
A day in the Queue (2026 timings)

| After 8pm | The next day's order of play is published on wimbledon.com. |
How the Wimbledon Queue works, step by step
- Check the Queue status on wimbledon.com before you set off. The AELTC asks people not to travel without checking.
- Get the Wimbledon app and a myWIMBLEDON account. In 2026 the account was required to buy a ticket and was scanned at the point of sale.
- Join the end of the Queue in Wimbledon Park and collect a dated, numbered Queue Card. If the Queue is at capacity, no more cards are handed out.
- Keep your Queue Card until you reach the ticket sales point. Breaks for food or the toilet shouldn't exceed 30 minutes, and you can't hold a place for anyone else.
- Buy your ticket. One ticket per person, card payments only. Tickets are non-transferable.
- Go through security. You and your bags are searched before entry. Bring original photo ID, which the AELTC's Conditions of Entry require.
What the Queue sells and what it costs
- Show Court tickets: about 500 each for Centre Court, No.1 Court and No.2 Court on days those courts are in play. No Centre Court tickets on the last four days.
- Grounds Passes: access to the outside courts, including No.3 Court, Court 12 and Court 18, and to The Hill, where play from Centre Court and No.1 Court is shown on a big screen.

Need a guaranteed seat instead?
The Queue can't promise you a Show Court seat, and there are no Centre Court Queue tickets for the semi-finals or finals.
