Watching football (soccer) live
The football tournament has 16 women's teams and 12 men's teams. The men play with under-23 squads plus a few older players, so many of the world's next stars are on show. Group stage games are the most affordable way to watch international football live.
New York Stadium
New York Stadium is the Games name for the new home of MLS club New York City FC in Queens, next to Citi Field, scheduled to open in 2027. Olympic football will be among its first big events.
Getting there: The site is next to the Mets-Willets Point stop on the 7 subway line and the Long Island Rail Road. Kick-off times are local Eastern Time.
Choosing your category
Category A is along the sidelines near halfway, with B beside it. C and D sit at the ends and corners and the later letters are higher up. Final seating details for a brand-new stadium can still change before the Games. This listing has tickets in Categories A, B, C and D. Tickets bought in the same order are seated together, and your exact seats are shown on the tickets when they are delivered.
Session details from the official LA28 competition schedule (version 3.0, March 2026). Times and the order of events can change; we will let you know about any change that affects your tickets.
